Knowledge
We have been in the business of stone restoration since 1991, and in the stone industry for several years prior to that as a licensed stone & tile installation contractor. In this business you will find that this type of experience is very hard to find.
Our principal is a certified stone inspector, an internationally recognized lecturer in the field of stone restoration, has authored many published articles, multi-media presentations, and a book on stone restoration which has worldwide distribution.
We use products from many different suppliers and have our own proprietary formulas. Every year we add to our “bag of tricks” techniques to complete our work better and faster. Our love for the business and desire to grow, means we know the science behind what we are doing, and how to avoid costly mistakes. You cannot short-cut experience, we have paid our dues. It’s called hard work and we believe in it.
Environment
Many of our restoration techniques were developed with the environment in mind. We have designed our cleaning system to use a low volume of water, and most of our chemicals are non-toxic. Our cleaning system also allows us to use a very light concentration of cleaning agents, relying on more of a “mechanical” process to achieve our results. We simply cannot call ourselves “Nu Life” and at the same time do harm to our beautiful environment.
Qualifications & Associations
BSA Licensed (1191533), Certificate 3 Floor and Wall Tiling, CERTIFIED Stone & Tile Consultant, Member: Australian Stone Advisory Association, Member: ASTM Dimension Stone Technical Committee (C18). We are also an accredited applicator for Solutions Sealers, Dry Treat, Stone Tech Professional (DuPont), Rock Star, Aqua Mix, and others.
